Kellie Halsted Scott is the founder and CEO of Divine Consign, Inc. a 20,000 SF retail consignment furniture boutique and online resale furniture superstore. Kellie is also the Founder and CEO of One World Resale- a company that works with the nation’s finest furniture Manufacturers, Distributors, Retailers and E-tailers to save discontinued, returned, closeout, samples and slightly damaged saleable furniture from landfills; thus reducing the overall carbon footprint of the furniture industry and contributing to the new scalable circular economy.
Kellie went to Marquette University where she was an NCAA Cheerleader and graduated with a double major in Political Science and Business Administration. After graduating from Marquette, Kellie attended DePaul University College of law. As an attorney, Kellie was a litigator and tried cases for 16 years in the State and Federal Court systems. She became a Partner in the Law Firm of Scott, Halsted & Babetch, P.C. After 16 years of practicing law, Kellie decided to pursue a different career path so Kellie opened Divine Consign.
Divine Consign and One World Resale continue to grow quickly, expanding into the national resale furniture market and leading the sustainable/green initiative by saving more than 12 million pounds of beautiful resaleable furniture from being tossed into landfills.
In 2019, Kellie was named a Chicago Power Player by Modern Luxury CS Magazine. In 2015 Kellie was named by Chicago Business Journal as a Woman of Influence. Kellie and Divine Consign have been featured in the Chicago Tribune, Chicago Magazine, 190North, Bring it Home, I Love My Job, WGN News, Chicago Law Bulletin and Fox 32. Divine Consign was selected by CBS, Refinery29, Chicago Magazine, the Oak Parker and West Suburban Living Magazine as the Best Consignment Store in Chicago. She is also a former co-host of the top-rated weekend radio show, Real Estate Revealed.
