Meet Shelby! Shelby came to ACL as a puppy and was adopted soon after. She recently made her way back to us when her family could no longer care for her and Animal Care League is here to help her get a second chance.
Shelby is currently in foster and having the time of her life! Her foster family says she’s a love and the best cuddle bug in the world. She rolls over for belly rubs when she sees children and gives lots of kisses! Her new favorite thing is sleeping on the couch. Shelby does have a special condition called Intervertebral Disc Disease that can affects her ability to walk, but she doesn’t let this slow her down! She’s able to go for short walks and gets around the house on her own—and, of course, can hop up on the couch!
